Winter opening hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 3pm-7pm; Sunday, holidays 10am-1pm; 3pm-7pm
Summer opening hours: (June 1st – September 30th) afternoon opening hours are postponed one hour (4pm-8pm)
The visit includes: the Tower of Secrets and Torments, large court, ancient troglodytic caves, the church of Santa Barbara, the Lord’s Palazzo, its museum of (arms, ceramics, furniture, and medieval and renaissance paintings), and the wine-bar of the Forli-Cesena “Wine and Dine” Route where local products can be tasted and purchased; tasting fees vary from 1 to 3 Euro.
Events: medieval festivals are held annually in June; falconry (April-May-June), All-Saints celebration (October 31st), Flavours of Romagna (autumn).

In Terra del Sole (charming Heliopolis, and “Ideal Renaissance City”), the Museum of Man and the Environment is located within the Magistrate’s building. The guided tours have two basic itineraries: an ethno-anthropological tour and a historical-architectural tour.
Note: Visits to the the Museum of Man and the Environment and a tour of the town cost: 5 regular, 3 reduced ticket. Tours and visits are conducted: during the summer (June 1st – September 30th) at 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm; and during the winter (October 1st – May 31st) at 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm.
Schools and groups should book in advance.

The castle includes a permanent modern and contemporary art gallery, with over 3000 art pieces of some of the most figurative artists of the 1900s; the main section comprises the Balestra Collection. The castle includes: 8 gallery rooms, a renaissance balcony, panoramic terrace, educational activities and temporary art shows.
