The Artusian Festival takes place along the roads of Forlimpopoli from June 10th to June 20th, celebrating the outstanding cuisine of the native Pellegrino Artusi who compiled the first official book of Italian cuisine of the 1800s. The festival is a great opportunity for tasting regional wines and food products, and participating in debates and meetings on the culinary traditions of Romagna.
The package tour lasts 2 days and 1 night, and is only valid during the festival dates.
Participation fee: starting at 59,00 euro.
The price includes: 1 day half board (at a country inn in Bertinoro), a guided winetasting at a neighboring town, and a copy of the book “Culinary Science and the Art of Eating Well”.
A food and wine expert from the Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori of Forli-Cesena, is available for anyone who wishes to explore the regional traditions.
Guided tours of art centers and outdoor environmental guides are available for groups of at least 10 people, with reservations made in advance through: GT Associazione Guide Turistiche di Romagna,
